Greenie! Juy 29, 2019

Čau všem,

Tuesday was a pretty slow day we had a lesson cancel on us, so we did a lot of finding! It was really warm too, so we had to take an icecream break. We also launched the new area book planner app in our mission. Then we taught our English class and shared a spiritual thought about prayer.
Wednesday we went to Karleštejin for a mission conference. Sis Rudd and I left early with the Glassers and got to walk up to the castle which was a blessing. Then we met up with all the other missionaries for the conference. I found out I was training Sister Draper. She's from Lindon, Utah and I already love her to death. Then we reverently walked up to the plaque where the mission was dedicated for the preaching of the gospel by President Nelson 90 years ago. The missionaries leaving this transfer gave their testimonies and afterwards we had a minute to ponder, pray, and look out over the beautiful country. The spirit was so strong and my heart was so full! I love this mission so much! Then we drove home with the Glassers and sister Draper unpacked. Then we did some work getting peoples emails so we could send them a legal document for our digital area book. Then we made Sister Draper's first halušky for dinner!

Thursday we got up and went running. We did all of our finding in the morning because it was cooler. I helped sis Drapper get a bus pass and set up her phone. Then we did our studies. It takes a while get through things because I explain how we do things and why we are doing them so she understands the purpose behind it. Then we went and taught Věra. That was fun. I had to translate a lot for sis Draper. I know my language skills are going to grow a ton this transfer. Then we made halušky at the Glassers for dinner. Haha, we got halušky 2 nights in a row.
Friday we did a group singing display with the Elders and sis Draper got to do her first solo contacting. Then we went to lunch with Vojtěch who is less active and shared a spiritual thought and invited him to church. Them we came home and did our stuides and weekly planning. In the evening we made a delicious dinner and then had call ins with our district leader and the sister training leaders.

Saturday we went to buy groceries for a less active member, but we got caught in a rainstorm while doing so and got soaking wet. We had some amazing studies together and I learned a lot. We prepared our 72 hour kit and started getting people put into our digital area book. It is time consuming and tedious, but the hard work now will pay off in the future. On our way to the church we ran into a member who is visiting from Plzen which was so fun! We showed him where the church building was so that he could bring his family to church. It was a miracle and God's timing that we ran into him when we did! Then we cleaned the church and we were supposed to have sports night, but no one came sadly. Then we came home and made dinner and I got to here a lot of sister Draper's stories. I love her so much! I can't even tell you how perfect God's plan is and how perfectly he knows each us to put sister Draper and I together this transfer. Many miracles are going to happen this transfer!

Sunday was great. We had the man from Plzen we ran into come to church! Věra was also at church! Then we visited Olina and we are going to pick her up and bring her to church with us next week. She is a returning member. Then we had a lesson show up an hour late, but we were gone by then because we had another lesson, so we rescheduled with him. We also had a lesson with this cute family. We talked about God, Jesus Christ, prayer and the Book of Mormon. The spirit was so strong in that lesson. We helped them realize that they have had experiences with prayer and they God has answered their prayers. We finished the night with correlation.

I know that miracles come from exact obedience. Sister Draper and I have gone over all the rules this week and we follow them the very best we know how. As a result,  we have already seen so many miracles this week. I know heavenly father is guiding us in this work. Christ is my best friend. He lifts me up when I'm discouraged and gives me strength when I'm so tired that I feel like I cant go on. His atoning power truly works!

I love you all. Have an amazing week!

S laskou,

Sestra Guymon
